The question of dwindling crowds at rugby union matches is such an interesting topic. My beloved Harlequins sold out most of their matches last year and have been heralded as providing a festive boost with The Big Game at Twickenham every December. However, it is a regional and predominantly wealthy crowd, I imagine a little different from those who would have attended Worcester or some of the clubs which perhaps are not as embedded in the local community as they would like. It's a crying shame as rugby offers so much and yet often falls victim to its footballing counterparts.

The root cause of the issue is firmly in The FA, if The FA do not yet recognise this then that is where the fire needs to be.

Thanks Nick! Quins have certainly been a standout on attendances. The challenge is to find ways for people to form ingrained sport watching habits
